I hold a B.Tech in Biotechnology from UIET, Kurukshetra University and an M.Tech in Biopharmaceutical Technology from ACT Campus, Anna University, Chennai. During my MTech, I worked on evaluating the anticancer activity of plant extracts on glioblastoma (GBM), an experience that sparked my interest in understanding the pathophysiology of this aggressive brain tumor.
Additionally, I have gained valuable skills through a skill development program on Advanced Spectroscopic Techniques at CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow, and a certificate course in Bioinformatics from RGCB, Thiruvananthapuram. At RGCB, I undertook a computational project analyzing changes in the structural dynamics of proteins caused by mutations using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, which further deepened my fascination with molecular biology and disease mechanisms.
These academic experiences, coupled with a relentless curiosity have shaped my journey and led me to join Dr. Sushmita Jha’s lab at IIT Jodhpur. Here, I aim to contribute to impactful research in cancer biology and related fields, driven by a passion for unraveling the molecular intricacies of disease.
Outside of research, I unwind by watching movies, web series and anime and by reading manga, which fuels my creativity and keeps me inspired.
